President William Ruto has directed that all junior school learners report to school

President William Ruto has directed that all junior school learners report to school immediately, regardless of whether they have paid school fees or acquired new uniforms. Speaking during the NYOTA youth empowerment programme in Meru County, the President said no child should be denied education due to financial challenges. He instructed school heads to admit learners without delay and allow them to continue using their existing uniforms as arrangements are made. The Head of State also directed chiefs and local administrators to ensure full attendance. He noted that the government has already released first-term capitation funds to support learning under the CBC system.
