St. Paul’s University Launches African Start-Up Revival (STAR) 2026 Training
Limuru, Kenya – 22nd January 2026 – St. Paul’s University, in partnership with Handong Global University, UNESCO, and UNITWIN, has launched the African Start-Up Revival (STAR) 2026 Training, a flagship programme aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students.
The week-long training, which runs from Monday, 19th to Friday, 23rd January 2026, was officially opened on Monday at the Joshua and Timothy School of Theology (JTSOT) Chapel, Limuru Campus. Over 50 students are participating in intensive sessions designed to develop a bio-entrepreneurial mindset, equipping them with skills in business model development, start-up creation, and marketing strategies.
The programme will culminate on Friday, 23rd January 2026, when students will present their bio-based business ideas in high-impact pitch sessions before a panel of eminent judges.
Participants are also benefiting from interactions with seasoned CEOs from bio-related industries. Speakers include Dr. Moses Kinya, Chief Executive Officer of Thika Water and Sewerage Company Limited (THIWASCO), and Mr. Parrivartan Sharma of Ecoloop Solutions Africa, who are providing mentorship and real-world insights into innovation-driven enterprises.
