the initiative will be implemented through large-scale education and training programs across schools, colleges, universities, and chambers of commerce under the World Meta Summit banner. A key component of the program is My Power Coin Wallets, designed to promote financial inclusion and make digital money accessible to all—advancing the vision of “Universal Money for Universal Citizens.”
Global Partnership Organizations (GPOs) and Public Benefit Organizations (PBOs) will serve as strategic partners in this mega movement, which targets Kenya and all African nations. The initiative is purely educational, with a mission to train one billion people worldwide on the fundamentals of blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and the role of artificial intelligence in building sustainable and profitable digital economies.
Currently, over 900 million people globally are already using cryptocurrencies. According to research by Universal Blockchain University, blockchain, cryptocurrency, and artificial intelligence technologies are expected to become fully integrated into the global economy by 2040, potentially increasing global GDP from USD 100 trillion to USD 300 trillion.
Africa alone has over 50 million cryptocurrency users, with Kenya ranking third in Africa, after Nigeria and South Africa, boasting more than 6 million users. The initiative aims to train at least one million advanced learners in Kenya within the next few years, positioning the country as the Blockchain, Crypto, and AI Capital of Africa.
To spearhead this vision, Mr. Mohammed Omer Mukheir Abuzein, former Regional Director at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), has been appointed Vice Chancellor of Universal Blockchain University. Mr. Abuzein brings extensive global leadership experience, having served at IFRC headquarters and across the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, and North Africa regions.
This initiative marks a significant milestone in Africa’s digital transformation journey, placing education, innovation, and inclusion at the heart of the continent’s future economy.
