As leaders and members of the Church, we must come together to strengthen this important institution. One of the greatest ways we can support it is by offering our skills, knowledge, and professional expertise. The forum needs committed professionals who are willing to contribute their talents for the growth of the Church and society.
However, if there is one thing that everyone can do, it is to pray. Prayer remains the foundation of every successful mission. I remember receiving countless messages from bishops, pastors, and priests assuring me that they were praying. Each time they thanked me for the work being done, I reminded them that I am also simply a member serving the same calling. What truly sustains this work is the prayer and support of the wider Christian community.
Today, I want to make the same appeal for Kenya Christian Professionals Forum to the incoming leadership, the board, the President’s Council, the committees, and all members—both those present here and those who will join in the future.
Our dream is clear: we hope to grow the organization to an active membership of 5,000 members within the shortest possible time. We envision establishing a chapter in every county, as well as student chapters in every university. We also aim to have representation in every Christian organization, professional body, and church where Christian professionals serve.
For this dream to become reality, each one of us must become an ambassador of the forum. Being an ambassador means more than just holding membership; it means actively encouraging others to join. If you have not renewed your membership, renew it. Let each one of us take up a challenge this year: bring at least five friends who are not yet members to join the organization.
Together, we carry the message of Christ—promoting ethical leadership, unity among Christian professionals, and transforming the world through the teachings of Jesus.
When I reflect on the years of service and the transition we are witnessing today, I realize that much work still remains. Many of the initiatives we started are still ongoing, and many more are yet to begin. The mission will remain unfinished as long as there are people in the world who need salvation and transformation. As long as the Holy Spirit continues to move among us, we must remain committed to supporting this work.
Therefore, as I conclude my service and hand over leadership, I make one final appeal: support the leadership of the forum. Support it in every possible way—financially, professionally, and spiritually. Support it by boldly identifying yourselves as Christian professionals and by ensuring that your values and conduct reflect Christ in the marketplace.
This mission is not limited to one country. Through the African Christian Professionals Forum, the vision will expand across the African continent and eventually to the rest of the world.
As leadership transitions continue, we look forward to the contributions of dedicated individuals who will carry this vision forward with commitment and integrity.
Finally, as we hand over the microphone and mark this moment of transition, I invite you to join me in a round of applause. Let that applause not only celebrate the work that has been done but also serve as a prayer and a commitment—a commitment that from today onward, we will support this mission even more strongly than before.
